Living
the Crucified Life!
"It
is a command to every disciple of Jesus Christ to take up his/her
Cross and follow Him. It is a gradual process of knowing and
experiencing Jesus Christ through this life with the Cross.
What
is this life with a Cross?
It
is a life of self denial, where both self and flesh are
crucified.
It
is a life where either your sin or your habits get crucified or your
habits crucify you.
It
is a life of helplessness - where you cannot carry on any longer with
your own strength and you come helpless at His feet. That is the only
way of coming to the LORD - totally helpless.
It
is a life that makes you broken and contrite in spirit - for He has
said to dwell with such who are broken and contrite in spirit.
It
is a life of total surrender; total commitment; total dedication;
total submission and total obedience.
When
the Crucified life is reigning in us - the character of JESUS will be
made manifest.
It
is a life where you say "Father, forgive them for they know not
what they do"
It
is a life where you will look 'foolish' in the eyes of your keen and clan.
It
is a life when you begin to think and act and talk like Jesus.
It
is a life where you are able to say "not my will but yours be
done"
It
is a life of quietness and rest. Self dies and so does the agitation
of the flesh.
It
is a life that regenerates the Life of Jesus in You. You do live,
biologically, but the life you now life is through the Faith of the
Son of God - Christ Jesus.
The
Crucified life always precedes the Resurrected life. And the
Victorious life always succeeds the Crucified life.
Only
the crucified life can live the Faith Life. The life of JESUS can only
be manifested through you dying to your self and the dictates of the
flesh.
A
crucified person is a broken person. And only a broken person can
totally yield to the LORD.
The
life of Faith comes through JESUS living in you! Jesus is you means
you are crucified with Him.
THE
CHOSEN ARE BROKEN & THE BROKEN ARE CHOSEN"
The
BIBLE says: (KJV)
Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
